What to Expect

Our programs operate from late May through early October, when coastal weather generally permits outdoor activities. All experiences begin with an orientation session covering safety, historical context, and what participants may encounter.

Group sizes are intentionally limited. Tours accommodate a maximum of 12 participants, while workshops and seminars typically host 8-10. This ensures personalized attention and meaningful engagement with guides and fellow participants.

"The Keeper Experience was unforgettable. Actually handling the equipment, writing in the log book, understanding the isolation—it gave me genuine appreciation for what these men and women endured."

— Michael T., Montreal

Participants should dress appropriately for coastal weather, which can change rapidly. We recommend sturdy footwear, layered clothing, and rain gear regardless of the forecast. Some sites require moderate walking over uneven terrain.
